### Day 2: Wertheim
**Arrives:** 11:30 AM · **Departs:** 04:00 PM

The small town of Wertheim is located where the Tauber River meets the Main. Magnificent half-timbered buildings shape the marketplace. The parish church, which dates from the Gothic era, is one of the sights of the village. The Counts of Wertheim, who ruled here from the 15th to the 18th century, found their final resting place in the interior. Other tourist attractions include the glass museum and a stately castle that sits enthroned on a mountain high above the city.

### Day 4: Miltenberg

On the Main loop, the small town enchants with the most beautiful half-timbered houses, the famous gate tower "Schnatterloch" and with what is probably Germany's oldest inn.
