## Ship Information

### A-ROSA SENA

We’re sure 2022 is going to be a big one – our biggest yet in fact. And that’s in no small part due to the launch of our revolutionary new eco-friendly ship which we’re proud to promise will offer a completely unique experience on the waterways of Europe.

For 20 years we’ve been pioneering our own relaxed, flexible and all-ages-welcome style of river cruising. With the arrival of the first of our next generation ships, A-ROSA SENA in May 2022, we’ll be turning that dial up to maximum with a ground-breaking design, host of eco-friendly credentials and standout features created to make a river cruise a genuine option for families and multi-generational groups.

Quite simply, there is nothing else like A-ROSA SENA.

Here’s what you’ll love:

Sustainability first

Completely unique on the rivers of Europe, A-ROSA SENA will feature an innovative electric and diesel hybrid engine and has been designed to switch to battery power as she enters and leaves port. This means our arrivals and departures will be emission-free, and almost silent so we can help keep the places we love cleaner and greener.

With sustainability at the heart of her design, A-ROSA SENA will lead the way in lowering emissions and helping to protect the rivers and cities she sails through.

A whole new level

Not only the biggest ship in our fleet, A-ROSA SENA will be the first ship on the Northern Rhine with four decks of spacious public areas and cabins plus a stunning al fresco sun deck. This extra level of interior space gives us more room than ever to dedicate to the things that make an A-ROSA river cruise so unique.

Alongside the biggest spa in our fleet, she’ll also feature a host of spacious cabins designed for families and multi-generational groups plus extra standouts, such as two swimming pools.

Everyone’s welcome

A-ROSA SENA is being custom-built for families and multi-generational groups. That means things like a dedicated kids’ club, family-friendly dining options, a children’s pool, choice of excursions designed with kids in mind and fantastic family cabins sleeping up to five. Plus, don’t forget, kids under 15 cruise completely free!

A taste of your destination

A-ROSA SENA will offer our widest choice of dining options yet – as well as a distinct flavour of the places you’ll visit. Inspired by the market halls of Europe, A-ROSA MARKET will be the go-to for casual buffet dining with a focus on regional specialities, locally-sourced produce and organic food. It will also feature a cafe, a bakery and a family area. If you’d rather not lift a finger, choose waiter service at THE PAVILION, or, for al fresco eats, go for RIVERSIDE where you can tuck into things like fish pans, mussels and wok dishes, cooked live in front of you.

SENA GRILL is the home of prime cuts of steak and seafood, plus catch or the day and sushi bowl options. There will be a small supplement to eat here.

Drinks-wise, take your pick from our relaxed and stylish SENA BAR or take your tipple against the ever-changing vistas of CAPTAIN’S VIEW. THE WINERY is the intimate home of wine tastings and the perfect place to raise a toast to a special occasion, and the head-turning UP & DOWN BAR on sun deck has been magnificently designed to disappear into deck when we sail under a low bridge.

And relax…

Our signature SPA-ROSA will be bigger and better than ever. Expect a Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, two treatment rooms and even an ice grotto with ice fountain. An expanded fitness room will offer up premium machines with smart tech, plus space for group sessions, including yoga. Refuel at the self-service bar or choose to snuggle up in the relaxation room with comfy loungers and a fireplace.
